Responding to the national call on the dangerous shortage of blood banks, Innovature Team was present at the Blood Donation Center of Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) to donate our blood and practice our social responsibility.
Annually, the amount of donated blood in Vietnam would dramatically drop during the Tet Holiday as a vast majority of donors in big cities like Hanoi and HCMC return to their hometowns for an extended period. This year, however, the country has to face an even more serious blood shortage due to the ongoing pandemic, in which many people are still away while many are afraid to risk their safety through donation activity.
Did you know that participating in blood donation gets you a free health screening, and helps reduce iron level in blood, improve heart and vascular system? And no worries, respiratory viruses like coronavirus are not able to transmit through blood and blood components, according to the World Health Organization (WHO). Blood donation centers are always well trained and equipped for your health safety. Please carefully read the instruction before participating.
