Education is the shortest way to remove poverty. However, many Vietnamese children are at risk of giving up their studies due to disadvantaged family backgrounds and socioeconomic barriers.
Besides our constant striving to be one of the best business and technology outsourcing services, Innovature BPO is also always ditigent in charitable activities, empathizing with underprivileged individuals and families.
Therefore, the Innovature BPO CSR donation fund was born. This is considered a good Innovature BPO’s culture, aiming to support underprivileged children to have a better life.
And in the most recent event, Innovature BPO CSR has once again proved its dynamism. CSR was honored to receive the certificate of Saigon Children Charity. This is a donation certificate for those who join hands with Saigon Children Charity to help underprivileged children break disadvantaged family backgrounds, and pursue their education by giving them scholarships, including tuition fees and gifts.
To get this honorable certificate, we cannot ignore the significant contribution from the CSR’s auction activity held at Innovature BPO’s Gala Dinner 2021. This auction donation was then used as 2 scholarships for Dang Nguyen Ngoc Trinh, Pham Thi Hong Xuyen, and to buy Covid backpacks for underprivileged children.
Dang Nguyen Ngoc Trinh is currently a 3rd-year student, majoring in accounting at HCMC University of Technology and Education. Her family is living in a rented house that costs 2-4 million/year with her mother’s meager income. Bearing a debt of 30 million VND borrowed for unsuccessful shrimp nursing, Trinh’s family situation is really tough, interfering with her education.
Pham Thi Hong Xuyen is a 3rd year student majoring in English at University of Finance – Marketing. Xuyen’s parents got divorced, and now she is living with her 80-year-old great-grandmother, her paternal grandparents, and her uncle’s family in Binh Duong. Xuyen’s aunt and uncle are both factory workers with minor incomes. Not to mention, Xuyen’s family is still burdening a loan of 45 million VND to repair their house, so the whole family is facing difficulties.
Besides regular CSR activities, Innovature BPO also proactively participates in several charitable activities such as 20,000 Virtual Steps Challenge, Backpack of Resilience, or HCMC Association of Victims of the Agent Orange Dioxin.
Thanks to these activities, Innovature BPO believes we can partly reduce underprivileged individuals’ economic burden, create favourable conditions for education, and kindle a chance to change their future.
