On October 16 and 17, 2024, Innovature BPO was invited to speak at the University of Economics and Finance (UEF), continuing our journey to connect more deeply with students and share practical insights about the working world. For us, these sessions go beyond just talking about jobs. They’re about storytelling, mentoring, and inspiring students to see the possibilities that lie ahead.
Two Days, Many Lessons

Over the course of two days, Innovature’s representatives offered different viewpoints on the professional journey. Ms. Kim Duong, our Chief Accountant, shared insights into the realities of working in finance and accounting. She explained what a typical day looks like, how deadlines are managed, and what skills are essential beyond just numbers. Her session gave students a window into what it’s like to work in a high-responsibility role but delivered in a way that was friendly, down-to-earth, and easy to relate to.
Joining her was Ms. Lucia Le from our Talent Acquisition and Management team. Lucia brought the conversation back to career development, job-seeking strategies, and how students can shape their personal growth. She emphasized the importance of soft skills, especially communication, critical thinking, and adaptability, qualities that sometimes matter more than grades when stepping into the job market.
Both sessions received great engagement, with students asking thoughtful questions and sharing their own concerns. Some wondered how to choose a job that aligns with their strengths. Others asked about interview preparation or the right way to talk about internships on their resume. The room felt more like a conversation than a lecture, which is exactly the environment we hoped to create.
Turning Uncertainty Into Confidence
We know that students face a lot of uncertainty during their final years in school. They’re balancing academic pressure, personal expectations, and the looming question of “What comes next?”
Our goal for these guest lectures wasn’t to give all the answers. It was to make that transition feel a little less overwhelming. By bringing in professionals who’ve gone through similar phases and are now thriving in their fields we helped students see that they don’t need to have it all figured out right now. What they need is a willingness to learn, and the courage to take their first step.
It was especially encouraging to see how students connected with our speakers. Many stayed behind after the sessions to ask one-on-one questions or simply say thank you. These moments reminded us that even small acts of sharing: a story, a tip, a smile, can have a big impact.
Why These Talks Matter to Us
Innovature has always been passionate about talent development. And that starts before someone even becomes a candidate. That’s why we continue to build partnerships with universities like UEF, where students are actively preparing for their future.
These sessions allow us to:
- Offer support where it’s most needed not just in job applications, but in mindset and career readiness.
- Listen and understand the evolving concerns of young professionals.
- Create a connection between what students are learning and what the workplace truly demands.
This isn’t about filling open positions. It’s about building a future workforce that feels confident, capable, and cared for.
Supporting a Larger Vision

As a company based in Vietnam with operations across Asia, we see ourselves not just as an employer, but as a builder of opportunity. That means creating access to meaningful jobs, mentorship, and learning experiences for young people across the region.
By investing in students today, we’re investing in a stronger, more resilient future workforce, one that’s ready to thrive in the global outsourcing industry and beyond.
The UEF guest lecture series is one small part of that bigger picture. But it’s a part we value deeply. It brings us closer to the people we hope to work with, and reminds us of the responsibility we carry in shaping the professional environment they will enter.
A Quiet but Meaningful Impact
While we don’t measure success by attendance alone, the feedback we received from students and faculty was heartening. Many said they felt more informed, more inspired, and more prepared to start thinking seriously about their careers. Some expressed interest in joining Innovature’s internship programs. Others simply said they appreciated the sincerity and realness of the conversation.
For us, that’s what makes it all worth it. Helping even a few students feel more confident about their next steps is a win.
Looking Ahead with Optimism
We left UEF feeling hopeful. Not just about the students we met, but about the future they represent. Their energy, curiosity, and openness are exactly what the world of work needs right now.
As Innovature continues to grow, we’ll keep finding ways to show up, from in classrooms, on campuses, to wherever young people are reaching for their potential. Because at the end of the day, we’re not just here to hire. We’re here to support, to guide, and to be part of the journey.
And that journey doesn’t start with a job offer. It starts with a conversation just like the one we had at UEF.
